Continuing with the flight, etc.

We got served breakfast before arriving in Auckland, NZ.  I got an omelette with bacon, fried pototoes, cheese and tomato, it was delicious.

Once we got back on the plane to go to Sydney, they served another breakfast - 3 hours had passed from the last breakfast.  This one was pancakes with stewed apples and cinnamon with a honey syrup - delicious - it came with yogurt as well.

Now that we are all fed up and contented we arrive in Sydney.  We took a cab to our hotel, the Metro, it was old but very clean, they have very nice people working there.

We were two blocks from the Mall where the Bank was with our Debit Card (from the whiskey funds) and we had to get a SIM card for the phone.  Unfortunately it was pouring rain that day.  We left our bags at the hotel while we did the Mall - when we got back we were drenched.  The "raincoat" I took was not a raincoat after all.

We called a cab to the hotel, gathered our luggage and headed out to collect the van.  What a disappointment that was.  The couch and table turned into a bed which was like sleeping on rocks.  Every spot on our body hurt when we got up, needless to say we couldn't find a spot to lie down for more than a couple of minutes.  We both needed a hoist to get into the van for driving, I was worse, we were so weak from not sleeping, oh, I forgot to say they gave us an empty propane tank which we never found out about until we arrived at our destination and tried to cook.  Luckily the fellow camping behind us came to our rescue and loaned us his extra tank.  Bacon and eggs for dinner never tasted so good.  We were extremely thankful for his kindness.
